ACCESS CMD

Accelerating Cardiometabolic Research at Scale

Cardiometabolic diseases including obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and cerebrovascular disease represent one of the largest and fastest-growing therapeutic areas globally.

Sponsors need faster recruitment, stronger real-world evidence, and longitudinal outcomes data without adding complexity to healthcare providers.
ACCESS CMD
AccessCMD within the ACCESS Infrastructure
AccessCMD is a cardiometabolic cohort embedded within the ACCESS research-ready infrastructure across the US and UK. Using secure integration with electronic health records (EHRs), eligible individuals receiving routine care are identified and invited to participate. With consent, longitudinal clinical data are linked with ongoing patient-reported outcomes and, where relevant, home-collected biomarker or genetic data.

The result is a scalable, healthcare-embedded cohort designed for commercial research.

What is AccessCMD
Embedded in Care. Designed for scale.
AccessCMD is a disease-specific cohort embedded within a scalable clinical research infrastructure designed to support commercial and academic partnerships. Participants are supported by dedicated specialist nurse teams, enabling high engagement and data completeness without increasing burden on healthcare providers.

The result is a real-world, healthcare-embedded research model capable of supporting preventative, interventional, and longitudinal outcome studies at scale.
Generate longitudinal real-world evidence
Stratify patients with precision using live clinical data
Evaluate disease progression or prevention over time
Accelerate recruitment into observational and interventional studies
Support post-marketing, HEOR, and payer-relevant evidence strategies
