Professor Alastair Noyce, who leads our AccessBrainHealth study with Queen Mary University of London, appeared on BBC Radio London recently to explain why finding Parkinson's before symptoms appear is now possible. We're using routine primary care to engage patients without Parkinson's Disease, with the aim of better understanding disease progression.As Professor Noyce put it, lots of people would take part in research, but very few people get the opportunity. Enrolling patients directly through their existing care networks is changing this, and unlocking access to a new type of trial participant.Full audio at link in comments.
