AccessPD represents a 'next generation' registry in Parkinson's Disease, leveraging uMed's ACCESS Research Platform to merge clinical outcomes from electronic health records with patient-reported outcomes directly from those within the AccessPD cohort. The authors have adeptly presented the most common diagnoses before and after a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, the most commonly prescribed medications among the cohort, and identified participants who could potentially benefit from device-aided therapies using consensus criteria.
